Elucidation

Elemental Symphony
Casting Time: 2 rounds
Duration: 10 minutes
Range: 50 ft.
Area of Effect: Up to 200 cubic feet of material
Irresistible
The bard taps the eldritch essence of creation, summoning a large quantity of a pure element within range. The bard may create any material that has an appropriate control song, which will react as a normal amount of the material would. Creating water causes it to splash about, creating stone causes it to thump to the ground, etc. When the duration ends, the material vanishes.

Aria of Fortune
Casting Time: 2 rounds
Duration: 10 rounds
Range: 40 ft.
Area of Effect: Up to 7 creatures
Irresistible
The bard’s rousing aria imbues the targets with a small quantity of good fortune. Each target may reroll any one attack, evade, concentration check, skill check, or ability check taken during the duration, and may choose to either use the original roll or the reroll as it sees fit. Any rerolls not used when the duration expires are lost.

Canto of Sorrow and Loss
Casting Time: 1 round
Duration: 5 minutes (Channeled)
Range: 100 ft.
Area of Effect: All hostile creatures within range
Irresistible
The bard’s song spurs enemies to forsake their causes, abandon their hope, and shakes their morale to the core. If the affected creatures can find a way to fight on, they will find that their chances to hit and evade are reduced by 15% as the bard plays their horrible song, and any attempts to resist fear effects are reduced by 30% (-7 penalty for ability checks).

Rhyme of Reason
Casting Time: 1 round
Duration: 2 minutes
Range: 75 ft.
Area of Effect: All non-hostile creatures within range
Irresistible
With a soothing, steady melody, the bard inspires her allies to feel a sense of peace and serenity, as if all is right with the world. This instantly breaks any mind-affecting spells or conditions on the targets, even ones placed by a divinity, and also grants a sense of peace and vigor for the duration, increasing movement rates by 20% and granting a +3 bonus to Intelligence, Wisdom, and Charisma checks.

Vovin’s Music of Making
Casting Time: 3 rounds
Duration: Instantaneous
Range: 30 ft.
Area of Effect: One object of no more than 400 cubic feet
Irresistible
The bard envisions the object in his mind’s eye, and reaches out to the primal forces that Vovin used to sing the world into being to sing the object into being. The object may incorporate no more than 500 gold worth of material into its creation, and if the bard wishes to create something that would normally require a skill roll, such as a sword, bow, or ballista, then the bard must succeed at that skill’s roll to create the object. Failure creates a pile of materials that can be used to create the object at a later date, as per normal crafting rules.

EXAMPLE: Gilbert the bard wishes to sing a catapult into being. Gilbert has Master Tinkering at 65%, and rolls his check. If he succeeds, a whole, working catapult will pop into existence somewhere within 30 feet of him, ready to be loaded and fired. If he fails, a large pile of timber and rope will pop into existence instead, ready for Gilbert to attempt to make a catapult the old-fashioned way. A successful creation is permanent, and cannot be dispelled, for there is no magic at play; the object simply is.

Requiem of the Damned
Casting Time: 3 rounds
Duration: 1 round (Channeled)
Range: 30 ft.
Area of Effect: Up to 2 creatures
Irresistible
Bards’ songs are often said to sing to the soul. This dour requiem makes that very literally true, causing the pyrefly itself to reverberate and shudder with mystic force. This deals 8d5 points of utterly unsoakable damage to each target, as their pyrefly strains and snaps from the shuddering, horrible notes.

The bard may repeat this attack on the next round if they continue to channel. Any creature killed by the Requiem suffers a fate worse than death as their pyrefly is utterly annihilated, rendering them unable to be resurrected and leaving their body as a dessicated, worthless husk, unfit for animation as anything other than a weak, pallid skeleton.
