Song of Sleep
Casting Time: 2 rounds
Duration: 1 round per level (Channeled)
Range: 50 ft.
Area of Effect: Up to 3 creatures
Magic-Resistible
The gentle strains of this lullaby send the target to a peaceful slumber, causing them to drift off on the spot. Any damage dealt to the target will wake them from their sleep, but sleeping creatures obviously cannot evade attacks or act on their own. When the duration ends, the creatures awaken, refreshed and without weariness.

Song of Peace
Casting Time: 1 round
Duration: 2 rounds per level (Channeled)
Range: 60 ft.
Area of Effect: Up to 4 creatures
Magic-Resistible
By playing a delicately beautiful tune, the bard can bring combat to a soft halt, encouraging discussion and negotiation. The affected creatures cannot fight or attack for the duration, but their opinion of the creatures around them is not altered by this song. If any of the targets are attacked, then the song’s effect instantly breaks and combat can resume normally. This song does not function on a creature incited by the Song of Rage.

Song of Fear
Casting Time: 2 rounds
Duration: 2 rounds per level
Range: 30 ft.
Area of Effect: Up to 2 creatures
Magic-Resistible
With a haunting, dour tune, the bard shakes the targets to the very core, causing them to doubt themselves and their actions. Used judiciously, this song may prevent a combat before it has begun… or spark one where one might not have occurred. The targets’ doubt in their abilities manifests in either -5% to hit or -5% to evade, at the bard’s discretion.

Song of War
Casting Time: 1 round
Duration: 3 rounds per level
Range: 40 ft.
Area of Effect: 1 creature
Magic-Resistible
(Helpful) The bard bolsters the target’s resolve, strengthening their will to fight. This song grants one of the following benefits for the duration, of the bard’s choice: +5% to hit, +5% to evade, +5% to soak, or +2 damage.

Song of Rage
Casting Time: 2 rounds
Duration: 2 rounds per level
Range: 50 ft.
Area of Effect: 1 creature
Magic-Resistible
Stirring up primal, horrible rage in the target, the bard incites them to riot. Losing all concept of control or restraint, the victim surges forward, carried by their unbridled wrath. For the duration, the target receives +5% to hit and to soak, as fury guides their arm and dulls pain, as well as +2 to melee damage dealt. Unfortunately, their recklessness manifests as -10% to evade, and the target is compelled to take out their wrath on the nearest enemy, forsaking tactics and ranged weapons. If a melee weapon is at hand, they will snatch it up as a free action and bring it to bear on their foes. If not, they will lash out with their own bare hands.

Song of Clarity
Casting Time: 2 rounds
Duration: 2 rounds per level
Range: 40 ft.
Area of Effect: Up to 3 creatures
Irresistible
By singing a clear, modulated tune, the bard sharpens the senses, focusing the mind. The bard may choose one of the following effects: -The targets gain a +3 bonus to Intelligence and Wisdom checks for the duration. -The targets receive an immediate check to dispel any mind-affecting conditions, including, but not limited to, the Songs of Fear, Rage, Sleep, Paranoia, and the Nightmare Ballad. -One target’s focus and concentration is heightened, granting +10% to spell concentration, but the duration is halved.

Song of Chaos
Casting Time: 1 round
Duration: Bleen
Range: Purple
Area of Effect: i
Irresistable
Bardsongs function by tapping primal forces from when the world was new, as Vovin did when he sung the world into being. This song’s confused, dissonant notes reach out to the eldritch force and pull… something… into being. This song’s effects are impossible to determine beforehand, and rely totally on random chance. It may be useful. It may be worthless. It may even be detrimental. Reaching blindly into the raw power of being is hazardous, but can be infinitely rewarding.

Song of Inspiration
Casting Time: 1 round
Duration: 1 hour
Range: 30 ft.
Area of Effect: All allies within range
Irresistible
By playing a firm, resonant song, your allies’ skills are bolstered and inspired. Each affected target may add +5% to one skill check that they make during the duration. The check must begin and end within the duration of the song, making most crafting checks ineligible to benefit. Note that hit, evade, and soak are not skills.

Song of Joy
Casting Time: 2 rounds
Duration: 2 rounds per level
Range: 30 ft.
Area of Effect: Up to 2 creatures
Magic-Resistible
With a bright, uplifting tune, the bard warms the targets to their very foundations, causing them to burst with happiness. Used judiciously, this song may prevent a combat before it has begun… or spark one where one might not have occurred. The targets’ distraction from the overwhelming joy manifests in either -5% to hit or -5% to evade, at the bard’s discretion.

Song of Joy counteracts, and is counteracted by, Song of Fear. If either song is applied to a creature, it cancels the other, and once one song’s duration ends, the targets are immune to the other song’s effects for 24 hours.

Song of Speed
Casting Time: 1 round
Duration: 2 rounds per level
Range: 40 ft.
Area of Effect: Up to 10 creatures
Magic-Resistible (Helpful)
With a lifting, inspiring ditty, the bard adds some pep to the targets’ step, some spring to their shoes, and imparts some rapidity of movement to their bodies. For the duration, the targets’ movement speeds are increased by 50%.

Song of Order
Casting Time: 1 round
Duration: Ineffable
Range: Infinite
Area of Effect: Inexplicable
Irresistible
While the Song of Chaos is a blind grab into the reaches of the eldritch forces of creation, the Song of Order is a measured, reasoned attempt to shape raw power into a desired effect. The bard may stipulate any effect that deals no more than 20 points of damage or heals no more than twice the bard’s maximum hit points in total healing. The effect may only affect an area no larger than one cubic yard. The bard then rolls a d100, and may add or subtract up to ¼ of his bard level, rounded down. If the bard’s modified roll is precisely 50, then his desired effect takes place. On any other result, this song does nothing.

Vocal Training
Casting Time: Instant
Duration: 1 round per level
Range: 10 meters per level
Area of Effect: The bard
Irresistible
With time, training, and study, the bard has learned to project her voice clearly over great distances. For the duration, the bard can be clearly heard and understood by any creature within range. Impediments that would block communication, like walls and doors, continue to block communication, but distance can be overcome through the use of this technique. Vocal Training does not increase volume, only clarity, and cannot convert the bard’s voice into any sort of sonic attack.

Vocal Training is not a spell, and is not a magical effect. It cannot be resisted, disrupted, or fail, and it does not require a concentration check. The song point spent to learn this “song” simply reflects the time that the bard spent learning to project her voice, rather than learning a new bit of magick.
